meet my family
One of the reasons Jon and I chose our house in Rollingwood 20 years ago is that it was one of the few homes in the area with a garage long enough for our pink 1962 Cadillac El Dorado Convertible! We love loading up our son, the dog and friends and taking a cruise around the neighborhood. You'll probably hear us coming and we love to see you wave!
About Me
I’m Amy Pattillo (-rhymes with armadillo-) and I’m excited to be running for Rollingwood City Council. I’ve had the privilege of serving on the City Council twice before, from 2013-2015 and 2018-2021, during which time I led in our City’s efforts in providing critical input on the Mopac South Environmental Study.

I am a native Austinite with deep, longstanding ties to the Westbank area. I’m a graduate of Westlake High School, having attended Eanes ISD schools from kindergarten through 12th grade. Growing up, I met up with friends at the Rollingwood ball fields and pool, and I was a regular in the stands, cheering on the Westlake Chaps on Friday nights. My academic journey took me to the University of Texas at Austin, where I earned a B.S. in Electrical Engineering, and later to Baylor Law School, where I earned my J.D. My husband and I chose Rollingwood as our home in 2005, and we’re raising our now teenage son, Jonah, here alongside our Australian cattle dog.
In my professional life, I’ve successfully managed my own law firm, focusing primarily on patent law. During the pandemic, I also took on part of the day-to-day management of my husband’s event fabrication company, Avecmode LLC. This role allows me to be a part of a team bringing people together for memorable experiences and producing the magical things that make Austin so special, from red carpet movie premieres to outdoor music festivals and everything in between.
As a dedicated community servant, I bring experience, commitment, and a deep care for our region. I currently serve as the Travis County representative on the Capital Area Metropolitan Planning Organization (CAMPO) policy board, which oversees transportation planning and funding across a six-county area. In 2023, I had the pleasure of serving on the Travis County Citizen Bond Advisory Committee, where we recommended projects for a bond package that passed with $233 million allocated to transportation and $276 million
dedicated to parkland acquisition and improvement. I’m also an active member of the Rollingwood Women’s Club and the Texas Exes Alumni Association, and I previously served on the Executive Advisory Board for Friends of the Children Austin.

I would be honored to earn your vote. I’m ready to listen, lead, and serve our community on the Rollingwood City Council.
